win7 error

Hi all,

I just found another bug/problem using LS with
win7: I just tried to install updates and got an
error message indicating something was wrong with
the system tray (no access by windows update). I
logged into my explorer account and the update
worked.

Just thought I'd let you guys know...

Systray is still the largest single issue with win7
and LS, all other stuff is fairly minor.

the thing that i find annoying on win7 is the wallpaper not being set when u
restart, the new version of xDesk did fix the problem where u had to recycle
to see the change when setting a desktop background, but its still always
black after a restart, annoying when the first thing i have to do after
every restart is go to the directory with my wallpaper and re-set it
:/

You need to be running the 2009-04-04 experimental build for that issue
to be resolved.

If you are talking about a different issue, please let us know.

Thanks for the report. I hope ilmcuts will be able to keep addressing
these issues. Win7 is not yet on my upgrade list.

Better yet, hopefully someone else will get frustrated enough to hack on
it and submit a patch.

To be a little more specific: it's all the
built-in windows icons that act up or don't show
at all. Most third-party icons seem to work just
fine with LS...
